Hello Again!

Hi everyone! I have been threatened and harassed to update this blog so here it goes :) Unfortunately my camera issue hasn't gotten any better and without pictures I just couldn't bring myself to blog :( What's a blog without pictures? But I will do my best to update you on our life here in the DeLaGarza Family Household.
I'll start with my hubby and I since I always start with the kids :) He and I are on a mission to lose weight. We were all excited and motivated in January, but slowly we were finding our way back to where we had started. YIKES! Luckily a group of teachers started the Biggest Losers at work and I have to say I'm doing pretty darn good! 11.5 pounds in 4 weeks and I hit the next "increment of 10" on the scale! WOO HOO! David was going up and down so I had to spike his motivation with a "Bet of $150 dollars" between us both. Watch out baby I'm not as wimpy as I look! LOL
Well other than our weight goals, we set a new goal to grow together in our faith. For one of our Lent promises, he and I and some friends and family are doing a book study on The Purpose Driven Life. So far it has been amazing and we've had 2 great nights of fellowship and what a great excuse to eat, drink and be merry!
The boys are growing like weeds. I just want to tell them to stop! David Rey finally took a break in sports. He did go out for the golf team, but unfortunately he didn't make it. I think you might have to actually played the game before-LOL (I do give him propts for even trying though)
Andrew is getting ready to make his First Communion. I am very excited about this and can't wait to witness him make this AWESOME sacrament.
Christopher is getting ready to spend a few days with his Nana and Popo. Or I should really be telling them to get ready-LOL Christopher is talking more and more. Now everytime I answer the phone, I quickly explain to the person on the other line that they need to say hello to Christopher before we can have a conversation. Like every responsible parent, we baby proofed most of the doors, atleast the ones that lead to the outside, but this weekend David and I went shopping for more door proofers (is that a word) for the pantry door and a refrigerator lock. (Yes they do have these and yes we do need one!) David said I was mean as I smickered last night as Christopher tried to get into the pantry and the refrigerator and realized he couldn't. Yes I finally defeated the small 2 year old that seems to run our household these days! Hee Hee!
All in all we are doing GREAT! The kids and I are excited for Spring Break to arrive and enjoy some R&R time. Stay tuned for the update of the Biggest Loser between the Mr. and Mrs!
