Hello fellow bloggers! I'm finally back :) Did you miss me? I missed you. I can sit here and make up lots of excuses of where I've been, but you've heard them all before: work, family, work, family. See I told you you've heard it :) Life is just as it always is...."never dull!" The boys are keeping us busy and you know I never post without the words, "they are growing so fast!"
I just completed the first 9 weeks of school. I've had my hands full with a student of mine. Well not just me, but me and my fellow colleagues. They are GREAT and I don't know how I would have gotten through without them. Fortunately, on Friday we placed this student at a school with a more structured environment. He definately needed it and I think it will be good for him, for me and for my other 21 kiddos :) It was a "Cowabunga 9 weeks!"
HaHa! How do you like my costume? Friday was our school's annual Monster Mash and to promote it and get the kids excited, the teachers get to dress up. My team was the Ninja Turtles! It was very fitting, because we do feel like we are fighting some challenges these days :0
I dragged the family back out that night and we had a "monster" of a time!
On the way we picked up Snake Eyes and Spiderman!
We dropped David off at a party that night. He seems to be getting "too cool" for us these days.
But occassionaly he's still that Big Brother the boys look up to:)
As for "Big Papa" atleast thats what Dave likes to refer himself to, he's been busy with work. He's been traveling out of town a little more often and will leave again next month for another grand opening. He's moving his way up there, meeting the "right" people and hopefully one day he'll get his own store :)
We are all doing GREAT! The Lord continues to bless us, keeps us safe, healthy and happy! Look for more posts coming up. I have lots of pics to share :) Have a good week!

Happy Anniversary
Once upon a time, a beautiful girl met a handsome boy! He swooped her off her feet with his witty and charming personality.
She fell head over heels for this boy and they became "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" soon after. (heehee)Their love affair began and they were inseparable. It was high school dances, parties, sweet 16's and sweet kisses in the hallways of Carroll High School!
But like most high school sweethearts they drifted apart only to find their way back to eachother a couple of years later after high school graduation.
Little did they know what life had in store for them. But lucky for him, she was DETERMINED! In the end, he saved the princess from the tower and she got her prince charming.
Today David and I celebrate another milestone of marriage. Today is another day I can say how proud I am to be his wife and how lucky I am to call him my husband. He is my bestfriend and my better half. He makes me laugh, he makes me smile, he holds me when I'm scared or when I cry, he can even make me mad and he looooooooooooves to prove me wrong, BUT at the end of the day I know this man loves me and I look foward to many more years with him making memories!
Baby I love you. I love the man that you are and the father that you are. The boys and I are so lucky to have you in our lives and I know I probably don't tell you enough. I pray that the Lord continues to bless our marriage, to make us stronger and allows us to grow "old" and "grumpy" together! :) Happy Anniversary-I love you!!!!!

Saving the Best For Last
I had to post one more picture and it was requested that I email this one out :) As I said before, Brandy truly captured our family at our natural selves and this one just says it all about Christopher........
I like to call this the "What you talking about Willis look?" :)
hee hee hee....I am sure this is just one of those random pics that you take in between eye shifts :) but actually Christopher is known for giving us these eyes. He thinks its hilarious! When we are not paying attention to him, he taps on our shoulders and when we look his way that's the face he gives us. He's a hoot I tell you!

More Family Pics :)
We finally got all the pictures back from our photo shoot and what can I say.....they are just AMAZING! No "stay still, tilt your head to the right, stand up straight, blah blah, blah, blah" just us being our crazy, dorky selves. She truly captured our family's personality and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks so much Brandy! We love them!!!!!
My Boys!
My Sweet Andrew!!! He was finally his natural self once the spotlight was on him!
This one is priceless. Christopher loves to give his daddy kisses!
Christopher soaring high!!!!
Can I just say that David and I make HANDSOME babies!!!! :)

Family Photo Shoot
Last Sunday the family and I went for a family photo shoot. We haven't had our pictures done in almost 2 years and I felt it was time. The boys are growing too fast for me that I need all the picture memories I can get. A former colleague of mine has begun her own photography business and she is AWESOME! If you want to see more of her work, just follow the link on my page "Brandy Lewis Photography."
I was so excited ,but terrified about the heat since we were gonna be taking them outside. David thought I was crazy and just kept asking me to wait till October, but you know me once my mine is made up there is no turning back! :) LOL
Our appointment wasn't until 6:30 so I just kept praying the temperature outside would start going down! Well despite my worries the evening turned out WONDERFUL! Andrew and Christopher were a "little" uncooperative, but we still got some good pictures and there are more to come. Here is just a little sneak peak. I hope you like!

Game Night!!!!
"You sleep in this.....ok good 'bed' that's the first word....now its a flower they have thorns....yes...bed of roses" :)
Tonight my nieces and nephews came over and we ate some yummy yummy pasta and played some games.
We started the night off with a game of Catch Phrase. I love this game. If you have never played it, I highly recommend it.
But the fun didn't end there. Then we decided to play a good ole game of Twister. Yes I twisted :) I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!
We had a fun night, but then again its always a fun night when my nieces are around :) Love ya!

Better Late Than Never....
July has come and is ALMOST GONE.....and I still haven't post our July 4th trip to Sea World :0 So better late than never...right??? LOL Well July 4th we packed up and headed to San Antonio to spend the weekend with David's sister Michelle and family.
It started off not so good. Christopher had been sick that week and it just continued to get worse. Unfortunately it was a virus that couldn't be treated. We had to just let it take its course. We were still indecisive about taking him and didn't make the final decision till that morning to go ahead and go.
We loaded up with LOTS AND LOTS of water, misting fans for all of us, snacks and even handkerchiefs to wear around our necks to keep us cool. It was absolutely HOT and absolutely CROWDED that we decided to go straight to the water park when we got there. This made Christopher very happy!!!
Did I mention how crowded it was? Oh yeah I did. LOL But again I have to tell you it was incredibly crowded and we will NEVER EVER go on this day again. We didn't get to do much because of the crowd. We watched a few shows and watched the fireworks.
And then headed for home.
We were planning to go back the next day and I almost decided not to, but I went ahead and took a chance. It was AMAZING how different it was from the 4th. Less crowded, less crowded and oh less crowded. It was definitely a better day.
It was a great trip and we definitely learned something.....NEVER EVER EVER GO TO SEA WORLD ON THE 4TH OF JULY! LOL ;)

SUMMERTIME!!!
It is officially SUMMERTIME and it is HOT HOT HOT!!! So what do we do...well we think "cool" of course. And that is exactly what the boys did. Andrew and Christopher got a little creative in the backyard the other day as David and I worked a little in the yard.
It started with some simple play with the waterhose and then they got Christopher's Diego bike involed. Andrew decided to fill up the compartment with water and well the rest just speaks for itself.....
Well just when you think it couldn't get any better than that....it did! Andrew decided to get Christopher in the action as well. :0 He had no idea what was coming! Hee Hee...
Need I say more :) Happy Summertime!!!!

Father's Day '09
Well I'm back. I know its been a while, but our camera issues have been solved. My hubby got the best Father's Day, birthday, Christmas present ever! (heehee) He got his Nixon D40 camera and yes its his year present all wrapped up in one :0 I have to admit it took a loooooooooooong time of convincing but I know its gonna be so worth it. And so now we finally have some new pics to update the blog.
This weekend we went down to Corpus to meet up with some friends for a weekend at the beach. The kiddos stayed with my parents but then we met up on Sunday for Father's Day. My dad and brother barbecued and the kids played on my dad's new toy for them.
David got lots of lovin from Christopher this day also. And I had the camera to capture the moments.
The kids finally decided there wasn't enough room in the backyard to ride the motor bike so we all headed down to the park for some more fun and play!
I am so thankful for the wonderful father Dave is to the boys and the memories they are making together. He is a GREAT dad and I couldn't ask for anything more! And since we are in the season of "Father's Day" I have to thank my own father for the wonderful dad and role model he has been to me.
My dad has shown me the meaning of love, strength and determination. He showed us the true meaning of family by taking time out of the business of life to make and capture those very special family memories that are instilled in our hearts. Thanks Daddy! I love you and Happy Father's Day!
